Ulysses Kyriakopoulos Expendable Scholarship

“The Ulysses Kyriacopoulos Expendable Scholarship”, was established in 2022 by Motodynamics S.A. in memory of Ulysses Kyriacopoulos, an active founding member and and former chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alba Association (Alba Graduate Business School (AGBS) as well as a generous and visionary ACG Trustee.

The scholarship is established to recognize Ulysses’ investment in time and personal philanthropy in education because he believed education is an important catalyst for social progress and individual development. The scholarship is intended to provide support to one or more Alba-entering students planning to pursue an MSc degree program for a scholarship award, considering primarily academic performance, and secondarily the financial need of applicants. 

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be considered, the applicant must:

  • Meet all requirements for admission to Alba according to the degree pursued
  • Have completed his/her Bachelor’s degree with a CI of  3.00/4.00 or equivalent
  • Show academic promise and work experience
  • Financial need will also be considered

Among equally qualified candidates, those demonstrating the highest academic excellence will be selected.

Eligible candidates must meet all of the program’s admission criteria as mentioned in the Alba website.

The Alba admission committee carries all responsibility for shortlist and the final decision. 

To continue receiving the award, the recipient must maintain a CI of 3.00/4.00 (or higher) while receiving the award. In addition, the recipient must be in compliance with the criteria set in the Alba Student Handbook.
