On March 26-28 ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece hosted the EFMD MBA conference, under the general theme: “The MBA and Heraclitus: Leading in a Changing World". Business School professionals and Academics from all over the world took part.
During the presentations and the workshops participants shared their concerns and thoughts on future challenges. The participants discussed about the new reality business schools face, about differentiation of MBA courses around the globe and of course about disruption and agility. Sessions ended with strategy improvisation, a speech by Prof. Kyriakos Kyriakopoulos and the day concluded with a live jazz musician.
The second day of the conference was full of insights, fruitful discussion and some provocation! The participants discussed about candidate motivations, explored disruption in the MBA landscape and heard the perspective of the corporate world.
The conference ended with some remarks, with an ...economist's touch, from our Dean, Prof. Konstantinos Axarloglou.
During the conference the participants attended the social events, including a private tour of the Benaki museum and gala dinner at the roof restaurant and a welcome dinner at the 360 restaurant where they enjoyed the stunning Acropolis view.
