Ms. Lountzi Aikaterini, one of the scholars, mentioned about the initiate: "SEV, with this scholarship program, contributes significantly to Alba’s efforts to develop professionals with a real understanding of the modern business needs, who will add value to the Greek economy. "
According to the Dean of Alba, Dr. Kostas Axarloglou, "SEV, founding member of Alba, actively promotes and supports education as a tool for the development of business executives and a source of innovation and development of the business community. In this context, this SME Scholarship Program on the one hand provides the opportunity for professional development of executives working in these companies and, on the other hand, signifies SEV’s commitment in education. At the same time, this Scholarship Program is the beginning of a broader cooperation between SEV and Alba that will deliver significant benefits to executive education and the business community. "
Mr. Bitsios, Executive Vice-Chairman of SEV, shared also his thoughts and stated: “For SEV, training and education of executives working in its member-companies and especially in medium & small- sized enterprises is considered to be a crucial factor for their growth. At a time when business competition unfolds primarily at the level of human capital and human talent management, the contribution of a prestigious educational organization, such as Alba, becomes even more significant. We wish this cooperation to gain further depth and breadth and find imitators for the mutual benefit of businesses and the economy in general. "
Those in charge of the Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises of SEV, Mr. Alexandros Makridis and Mr. Konstantinos Maragos, stated "SEV’s goal is to strengthen SME and support them in acquiring those characteristics that will make them more productive, innovative and outward-looking. Investing in human capital is a soft spot for Greek small and medium-sized enterprises. The co-operation we are launching between SEV and Alba will provide significant assistance to these businesses in the next 3 years and help them equip their executives with knowledge and skills that are needed in the local and international level.
