New competition: Top five companies in equal opportunities

For the first time in Greece, a competition will recognize and reward the promotion of equal opportunities in the workplace.

The competition is part of the EU EQUAL funded, project ANTHISI, and is organized by ALBA Graduate Business School,  SEV (Federation of Greek Employers) and the General Secretariat for Gender Equality, Ministry of Interior. ALBA is responsible for the design and implementation of the competition as well as for the evaluation of participating companies.

The evaluation of companies will be based on a structured questionnaire, focusing on the main areas that have been identified as important for the promotion of equal opportunities (gender equality) in the Greek business context. Supporting material may also be submitted. The final evaluation and ranking of participating companies will be performed by a committee of experienced business executives, academics and researchers in the gender equality sector.

Participation is free of charge for all Greek enterprises. Applications for participation will should be submitted by the 31st of October 2007.
