On Wednesday, April 9, 2003, a group of   French students from the MSc In Strategic Human Resource Management Program of the University of Paul Valery, Montpellier III, visited ALBA. The visit was organized under the framework of the program’s annual educational trip which is conducted each year in a different country. The purpose of this trip was to familiarize French students with the current trends of Human Resource Management in Greece, by meeting with representatives of Greek companies and Educational Organizations.3

The University Paul Valery is one of the three academic units of the University of Montpellier, one of the oldest Universities of the world which was founded in 1289. Currently, it has 22,000 students 15% of which are foreign students. The University’s faculties include arts, philosophy and linguistics, languages, literature, human and environmental sciences and social sciences.

ALBA decided to support this effort as a forerunner educational organization in business administration studies and at the opportunity of the newly–introduced and dynamic program, MSc In Strategic Human Resources Management immediately after the invitation of the Organizing Committee Of Olympic Games 2004. Dr Olga Epitropaki, Assistant Professor in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, ALBA, carried out a presentation concerning the main issues of Human Resources Management in Greece. The French students will stay in our country for the next two weeks and will also pay a visit in Eurobank Ergasias S.A., Aluminum de Grece and The Organizing Committee of Olympic Games 2004.
