Stories of talent, perseverance, boldness and extraversion. Stories of inspiration and empowerment. Stories of famous Greeks who have excelled in their endeavor, in their profession, in life, in Greece and abroad.

This is the theme and essence of "K Inspiration", Kathimerini's upcoming event on September 19, and ACG is proud to be part of it as educational partner.

The event is going to be held at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center and is hosting some of Greece's finest ambassadors from the sports, music, science, entertainment, journalism, business and gastronomy industries.

Next to the outstanding success stories of the main event's guests, featuring Lefteris Petrounias, Vasilis Kekatos, Nikos Moraitakis, Elli Papaemmanouil, Chrisitna Poulitsi, Nikos Roussos, Matina Stevis-Gridneff, and more, ACG will be there to draw from its long list of original, unique and awe-inspiring stories and share them with the audience over the course of two exciting, thought-provoking sessions, called Inspiring Minds.

Celebrating technological innovation, excellence, research, creative leadership, and athletics, the sessions are going to feature stories from all ACG divisions, presented by distinguished Pierce, Deree and Alba faculty.

Session I will focus on technological innovation and will cover the following topics:"The role of STR in the learning process" presented by Dean Annie Triantafillou; "Robotics and new technologies in school", as evidenced in the Solar Car and Persephone projects, presented by 3 Pierce professors. Moreover, during the latter part of the session, Director of Athletics, Mr. Theodore Priskomatis, will present the work of Deree Athletics and will discuss the importance of quality athletic education as a prerequisite for success in life.

Session II will focus on excellence, research and the generation of new knowledge at ACG, involving a panel discussion between Dr. Haris Vlavianos, Professor of History and Political Theory at Deree, and Director of the Institute of Global Affairs, and Dr. Charalampos Mainemelis, Professor of Organizational Behavior at Alba and Director of the SEV Center of Excellence in Creative Leadership
